Testimonials

As you are aware, Roy passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday. I am writing to thank you for, not just the wonderful service you provided, but going beyond what could be reasonably expected in your care of Roy. Your hard work, humour and devotion has touched all of us, from individual actions to the group as a whole and its professional attitude and personal touch over the past 12 months. It was a comfort to see how Roy was cared for by people who became very good friends and who took time to visit him out of work hours. The dedication shown by all the wonderful staff who came into our lives was second to none and if there are any angels in your profession you must be up there with the best. We are extremely lucky to have had such a team as yourselves in Leominster and long may it continue. We would appreciate this letter being brought to the attention of the staff who knew and cared for Roy.

Today was the final day of many weeks of excellent care that my husband Alan has received at the hands of your agency. I would like to thank you for your prompt, caring and reliable service. All the Carers that we met were friendly, thoughtful, gentle and professional and we could not have had better help over a rather difficult period in our lives.

To all the Carers at Marches Home Care, Sue, Peter and Family would like to thank you for the wonderful care and companionship that you have given.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your wonderful Care Workers for all the help we are receiving for my mother-in-law. The Carers who come to our home to help look after Vera are so wonderful with her despite the many difficulties she poses with her condition. They are always cheerful and obliging, very punctual and helpful in many ways. I would also like to thank you and the administrative back up in your office who have always dealt with my queries in a very professional and helpful manner and for the trainers who have visited several times to assess and advise about moving and handling Vera. This is such a contrast to the previous care agency we had. If any of your clients needs reassurance of your capabilities I would be happy to speak with them and have no hesitation in recommending your agency to anyone who needs Home Care assistance.

Meet Marches Care Team

Helena Roberts

Hello, I am the Registered Manager and Proprietor of Marches Home Care Services Limited. I started the Company in June 2006, having worked for many years within the care sector to provide a service out in the community of Herefordshire.

It has been a privilege to provide care to the people in Herefordshire and we will continue to deliver the highest quality of care supporting people to remain at home for as long as possible. I am extremely delighted and proud of what the Company has accomplished since it's inception in 2006. The Company is strengthened by a close and loyal team of management, administration and care staff, some of whom I would like to introduce to you...

Min Nedic

Min came to join me in 2007 and has become a true friend and totally dependable colleague. A care manager who devotes all her concentration and time to looking after the wellbeing of all our Service Users as well as the care team who look after them. She takes pride from the fact that she works closely with our carers to endeavour to provide a 'person centred' quality of care to all our Service Users.

Min is very approachable, completely committed, warm and always enthusiastic in her work. It is evident that Min enjoys building relationships and cares very much for everyone she meets.

Alice Roberts

Is an essential part of the organisation, co-ordinating the provision of services to our Service Users, as well as the work schedules for all the care staff. Alice has a very special gift which makes her approachable and enables her to get on well with everyone she meets and works with. She is a friend, support and a great source of strength to me her mother, her office colleagues, Service Users and all the members of the care team.

Having been with the Company since 2008, Alice has attained qualifications and experience in administration and corporation operations.

Sarah Davis

Is our training officer/assessor and has had a significant position within the Company since coming to work with us in 2007. Sarah is well qualified to train to the high standard required to provide excellent care to all our Service Users. Her programme aims to instill confidence and self-assurance within the team thus facilitating them to perform to the best of their ability.

All staff employed by Marches undertake the new compulsory Care Certificate, which was introduced in April 2015. On successful completion of the certificate, care staff will have achieved the required knowledge of the new care standards introduced by the Care Quality Commission.
